Logistics Analyst

This position serves as a logistics analyst assisting in the development of program plans and strategies that optimize Government and Contract resources to achieve an affordable and supportable F-35 Air System. The position is located in Arlington, VA.

The candidate will develop comprehensive and integrated maintenance strategies, and participate in identification and development of requirements to support reliability and maintainability goals. The candidate will support the development and maintenance of programmatic milestones and will coordinate issues of reliability, maintainability, and supportability that affect design. The candidate will also participate in cost analyses, cost reduction/affordability Initiative development and implementation, and will evaluate studies involving alternative solutions.

Candidate must independently plan and complete assignments; Effective, professional, timely and complete communications – oral and written - are required to be successful; alerting the supervisor when problems arise that would delay project or mission accomplishments.

Education/Experience: A Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) years of experience or an Associate's Degree and ten (10) years of experience is required. In lieu of any degree, twelve (12) years of experience is required. DoD acquisition/acquisition logistics program experience is desired.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Additional requirements include:

-Technical background in military aviation maintenance

-Strong writing skills

-Strong communication skills, including experience in briefing senior civilian and military leaders
