Our Company is looking for a GM, Buyer/ CMO to take our demand generation efforts to the next level.
Our Company is transforming the role of video in the creative process by connecting media buyers to more than 60,000 artists in over 150 countries.
With more than 5 million royalty-free video clips and 1MM+ music and sound effects we are the largest provider of royalty free video and music on a global basis.
Thanks to our phenomenal growth and unprecedented demand, we are looking for a GM, Buyer/ CMO to take our demand generation efforts to the next level.
Pond5 is a venture-backed company funded by Accel Partners and Stripes Group with offices located in New York, Dublin, and Prague.
The enthusiastic, forward-looking individual who undertakes this challenge will oversee all functions of our demand generation, brand building, and channel expansion.
This is a General Manager role with direct accountability for new customer acquisition, revenue generation and retention, cross sell, defining go to market, and new channel and market expansion.
You will grow, lead, and motivate a global team and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Generate demand and acquire and retain customers through direct marketing, paid search, SEO, SEM, partnerships, product marketing, marketing communications, public relations, and pricing
Define customer segmentation and go-to market strategy
Partner closely with our Global Sales team and Inside Sales team
Build our brand awareness on a global basis
Enable product enhancements to serve our buyers

You get your hands very dirty.
10+ years of experience of increasing responsibility in (direct) marketing and/or product marketing, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role and exposure to Sales
Marketplace and ecommerce experience preferred
Brand and merchandising experience preferred
Business development and partnership experience preferred
International experience preferred
