Radiologic/Mammography Technician needed in Chevy Chase MD, Washington DC, Fairfax VA and a float position in Park Potomac, MD. Job Description: The Radiology/Mammography Technologist, under the supervision of the Physician Administrator and the appropriate Chief/Senior Technologist and/or Manager, performs imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries and support general operations of the office. This is a non-exempt, hourly position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology from an accredited school. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must obtain a certification in mammography within one year of employment. Should be able to lift and move patients as required. Must become certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation within one year of employment and renew certification annually. All technologists working in the Maryland and Virginia offices must be licensed by the state.
