Software Engineer

Beavercreek, Ohio

As Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and debug new software while improving existing software, and regularly interact with management to analyze specified methods and procedures, identify problems and

document requirements.

To qualify, you should possess a BS degree (a Master’s is preferred), and three to five years of experience working with open architecture systems, serial interfaces, analog and digital I/O, TCP/IP, and avionic buses such as 1553 and ARINC 429/615/629/717. Your background should emphasize the design and development of real-time embedded software, plus software development and hardware integration experience. A thorough understanding of avionics subsystems, such as mission computers, navigation, communication links, weapons store management, weapon integration, electronic warfare and common avionics sensors is key to success in this role. You must be proficient with C++ and Java, or exceptional at another relevant language. A proven affinity for modern development tools such as Visual Studio 2010+, GCC 4.8+, Git, instrumentation frameworks, debuggers, visual modeling and simulation is essential. Active TS/SCI Clearance (or an ability to obtain) is a must!
