Education/Skills Required: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field • A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, systems administration and test engineering / strong preference for experience in all 3 domain areas • Working knowledge of DevOps • Proficient in Windows and/or Linux system administration • Proficient in scripting technologies • Working knowledge of automation tools • Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies • Service oriented mentality / servant to the teams • Experience with Continuous Delivery • Experience with software configuration management automation • Experience with software installation automation • Experience with networking technologies • Working knowledge of agile software development methodologies • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills • Ability to speak developer and consultant language and translate between the two • Working knowledge of architecture and design principles • Experience with continuous improvement processes and principles, including six sigma • Ability to design, develop, and maintain complex software code and systems • Working knowledge of software testing • Expert in analyzing, designing, and implementing software solutions to improve quality, stability, and reusability of code • Lead and advise other Engineering resources as part of project and sprint activities • Stays current with technology, industry trends, and shares knowledge with the team • Experience collaborating with Architecture, Product Management, and customer teams • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter • Ability to continually challenge status quo and drive process improvement • Demonstrated ability to think, evaluate, and solve complex technical problems • Demonstrated ability to implement enterprise class products and solutions Experience demonstrating how technical solutions solve real business problems
