Coordinating activities with internal and external subject matter experts in evaluating product opportunities

Developing and presenting materials supporting various product and market recommendations

Managing high-level work plans for meeting various deadlines and deliverables

Assisting in the ideation and development of new innovation

Assisting with development of business plans for products and markets

Researching, reporting and presenting “best practice” approaches to new products and markets; staying relevant on current and new trends and technologies in Managed Care.

Performing market and financial assessments to evaluate market and product opportunities

Conducting market and competitor research to support SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analyses

Assessing internal capabilities, conducting gap analyses, and developing mitigation strategies

Developing market entry strategies and tactics.

Other special projects as assigned

Education & Experience:

Three to five years of relevant business planning experience and a master’s degree OR a minimum of 5 years with a bachelor’s degree.

Master’s Degree - MBA, MPH or similar degree or equivalent work experience with Bachelor’s degree

Product development or business development in managed care is preferred

Looking for someone with knowledge in model of care and or provider network strategies

Proficient in MS Office products

Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications skills including both one-on-one and public speaking and/or presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large and small projects

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage projects and information

Understands trends in the managed care market space and is familiar with market expansion and different managed care models.

Demonstrates ability to define problems, collect information, and recommend solutions.

Demonstrates ability to understand the overall scope of communications and how it relates to the Company’s business strategies.
