The Station Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising repair and maintenance for all facilities to include: routine service, and repair of all existing and possible future stations. Stations include kiosks for ticket agents, parking lots and garages, custom signage, brochure racks, display cases, elevators, escalators, pedestrian bridges, landscaping, and station platforms and accessories.

Manages the maintenance of all Tri-Rail stations to include: rail stations and parking facilities for SFRTA owned/leased Tri-Rail line rail operations by:

* Assures that all periodic inspections are performed in accordance with the FRA, EPA, FDOT and SFRTA's requirements to meet service needs.

* Reviews all required FRA and EPA reports and inspections, ensuring completion and verifying accuracy in order to comply with FRA regulations.

* Provides rapid response to deficiencies when reported and performs quality audits to ensure maintenance practices and repairs and performed at the highest level.

* Maintains safe clean environment for customers and the communities along our right of way.

Oversees subcontractors for landscaping, janitorial services and maintenance by:

* Performing spot checks to ensure the cleanliness of stations/facilities and ensuring landscaping services are performed as required.

* Reviewing work reports for compliance.

* Working with subcontractors to achieve continuous improvement targets.

Oversees Utility expenses and develops a cost control/reduction program for improving performance.

Maintains good working relationships with staff and subcontractors.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facility Management or related field. Experience with environmental permits.

At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in management of transit stations and/or facilities supervision of a workforce similar in size.

This individual shall have at least ten (10) years of relevant prior experience in management of transit stations.
