Program Assistant for Recovery Services, M-F 8-5, $12 hourly depending on experience and qualifications. Prefer Bachelor's degree. MS programs, advanced experience with excellent computer skills. Need professional office experience and have worked in programs that serve Clients with serious mental illnesses. Must be age 25 to be a qualified driver. Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background check. High rate of accuracy and multi-tasking a must. A person in this position must be highly organized, capable of multi- tasking and be available to perform duties for multiple staff both direct service and managerial.

Job Summary: A person in this position must be highly organized, capable of multi- tasking and be available to perform duties for multiple staff both direct service and managerial. This position requires a person with excellent computer skills in order to run necessary reports, manage monthly reports and data, prepare as well as set up equipment for presentations. This person will also assist staff with some minor tech support, preparation of documents and verification of information. Referrals to recovery services are processed by the program assistant, noted in the EHR that it was received for internal referrals, then distributed to appropriate staff. Bus passes are ordered for recipients in recovery services programs. This position is responsible for leading the weekly Treatment Continuity Meeting, recording and maintaining the minutes and agenda. This position will monitor patient information in the EHR to insure it is accurate and up to date. This includes but is not limited to contact information, phone number and address as well as financial eligibility. A person in this position will also be a part of the internal auditing and monitoring of records in recovery services programs. This position will work with managed care Medicaid to request, process and track prior authorizations necessary for treatment. This person will assist with transportation of recipients to programming. They will receive, track and distribute referrals to the residential program.

Essential Duties/Requirements/Activities:

Highly organized

Capable of working with minimal supervision

•Ability to run reports and interpret the data

Collect and maintain data for required reports

Maintain data bases for all recovery services program

Note receipt of referrals in the EHR

Enter smoking status and BMI into the EHR for recipients in recovery services programs

Managing the transportation needs of persons accessing services by ordering bus passes and SPECTRUM passes

Managing information related to financial eligibility in the EHR by checking this for persons in recovery services once per month then sending need correction to the Account Receivable department

Requesting, processing and tracking services units from Medicaid managed care

Capable of inputting documentation in the EHR

Managing and inputting information into the county Care Scope system

Filling in at front desk for the Wellness Clinic when needed

Manage referrals to recovery services and residential ? Responsible for ordering and distributing bus passes

•Responsible for ordering and distributing program supplies

Leading and recording information from the Treatment Continuity Meeting

Prepare reports, power point presentations, create forms and documents as well as spreadsheets

Assist with maintaining and monitoring recipients fund source information

Assist in audits and monitoring of recovery services records

Performing some minor tech support

Assist with transporting recipients to programs using PRC vans.



Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma and four years' experience may be substituted for a degree


Experience working in a professional office environment. Working in programs and services that serve persons with serious mental illnesses. Experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and other spread sheet programs, experience running reports from computer data bases

Must have reliable transportation and be of age 25 or older to qualify as a driver

Must carry and maintain $50,000/$100,000 bodily injury coverage on personal vehicle and provide and maintain proof of coverage. May also drive a PRC vehicle, if available

Must have a FL driver's license and a clean driving record
