Insurance Account Manager (Personal Lines) - KV

Location: Toronto


The incumbent will provide exemplary customer service to clients who have vehicle and/or habitational policies.


Act as primary contact with clients for service issues and general concerns during the life of the policy

Review client accounts and make outbound telephone/e-mail contact with the client to review coverages on an annual basis, at the time of the renewal

General client service, acting as primary contact with company underwriters

Prepare instruction for, and monitor the completion of fulfillment tasks delegated to teammates

Alert team members to issues requiring action or communication with the client

Remain alert for opportunities to up sell coverage (such as optional accident benefits, valuable articles, legal expenses protection) and obtain word-of-mouth referrals; replace all lost or non-renewed business

When the insurer issues a non-renewal, notify the client and offer alternative coverage, if appropriate

Maintain complete and accurate client activity notes

Maintain current and up to date voice mail log books

Return voice mail messages per Service guidelines

Maintain suspense and keeping current (within 5 days)


R.I.B.O. license

Three to five years of successful customer service experience in a general insurance brokerage

Fluency in a language other than English considered an asset.
