My client is rapidly expanding in the Portland area and they need to find a Senior Level Commercial Lines Account Manager to support their new production team. You will be involved in marketing, underwriter negotiations, and placement of complex layered policies and will be the main point of contact with the insureds. You will work directly with the Production team to craft a risk strategy to win new accounts. There will be office and client face time in this role. The position will initially require that you work independently with strong support from the home office for administrative service/support tasks. Growth opportunities include developing into a Client Services Team Leader as the book of business grows and the need to hire more junior staff accelerates.

Candidates need to have large company account management experience in a brokerage setting with accounts of $20,000 or more in revenue where they were the main inside account manager for the client's risk strategy. Knowledge of Sagitta is a huge plus, but other paperless agency management systems are acceptable. Must enjoy working independently. Insurance designations are strongly preferred. OR P & C license is required.
