Purpose of Position

To plan and lead the development, testing and deployment of specified areas of APAC internal IT solutions in an efficient and effective manner; to lead and monitor the development of requirements of various internal IT solutions and lead the development team and business users in the design of high level IT solutions with the objective to maximize user satisfaction and ensure system competitiveness of all related solutions.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, MIS or related discipline.

Experience: Five (5) years related professional experience in information systems on Project Management, requirement collection & analysis and high level IT solution design of which two (2) years in a software application design & development environment.

Experience in managing Vendor Management Office (VMO) functions which include:

-RFP and vendor selection process for outsourced development vendors

-Contract negotiation for outsourced development, in particular master contract for vendors to carry out multiple projects

-Defining, managing and streamlining vendor engagement process

-Defining and recommending outsourced development models

-Measuring, reporting and managing performance of outsourced development vendors

-Previous experience in managing IT development projects (medium to large scale) across geographical regions

-Good oral and written communication skill; proven communication skill in negotiation and conflict management

-Any certification in project management like PMP and Prince2 is a plus
