Job Expectations:

In this role you will provide project management and technical support on a variety of Water Resources projects. You will conduct technical evaluations to support planning and design related to stream restoration, storm water BMPs, and other related projects. In addition, you will perform and oversee field investigations, storm water sampling, and stream flow monitoring. You will also provide marketing and technical support to project managers and staff during the procurement and execution of key projects as requested

Additional job responsibilities:

•Perform and oversee technical analyses including hydro-logic and hydraulic modeling, statistical analyses, water quality investigations, GIS mapping, and data management

•Prepare and review technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables

•Supervise and coordinate the work of others on projects; ensure proper and timely execution on projects

•Help mentor junior level staff members

•Successfully manage and deliver projects on time and on budget

•Utilize internal project management tools and resources

•Participate in company’s QA/QC process

Desired Skills and Experience:

•BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field required; MS degree preferred

•5-12 years’ experience with design of stream restorations and storm-water BMPs required

•Ability to use AutoCAD Civil 3D required

•Professional registration or ability to obtain PE in Virginia required

•Proven PM experience preferred

•Strong technical writing skills required
