Company has an opportunity for a Network Engineer who will be based in the East Brunswick, NJ corporate office (approximately 60 miles south of NYC). Job Summary

The purpose of the Network Engineer is to ensure effective operation of the network to meet business needs, to include design of network architecture, integration and installation of IT equipment, and to maintain and improve the network and its various systems to ensure stability, reliability and availability.

Main Position Responsibilities:

•Assists in managing the day-to day operation and troubleshooting for US, Canadian and Mexican users

•Experienced support of network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, VPN

•Network troubleshooting and administration including VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing

•Active Directory administration and implementation

•Microsoft Exchange and other business information systems

•Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations, new solutions and processes

•Ensure compliance with licensing requirements

•Perform after-hours support as needed

•Travels to company plant locations on an as needed basis. Travel is not expected to exceed 35%

•Administration of US/Canadian/Mexican Windows and IT Systems:

Server infrastructure (Vmware ESX, physical server, etc.)

• Backup infrastructure

• Mobile Device Management (MobileIron)

• Exchange

• NetApp Infrastructure

• Extreme Switch and wireless AP administration

• McAfee Virus Protection

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or technical school training/certification with 4+ years of related work experience OR High School degree with 6+ years related work experience.

• A working knowledge of Active Directory and Switches is required

• Knowledge of Microsoft products, Network environments, network hardware and network security is required

Highly Desirable Skills:

• Backup solution administration, familiarity with UNIX operating systems, and AIX Administration experience
