The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining sales and marketing objectives, strategies, plans and programs in accordance with the organization goals to meet the Company’s vision and mission, expand and grow the business network, and empower the team to be productive through their own initiatives with proper guidance while maintaining the atmosphere of teamwork. S/He is expected to manage a successful sales team in a high volume furniture retail operation with the core responsibility to achieve maximum growth and optimum profits for sales.


Ensure his/her team achieves or exceeds sales targets

Ensure sufficient market coverage to explore all opportunities on a scheduled basis

Contact potential customers to assess their capability or market segment coverage

Develop and submit suitable selling proposals

Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts

Develop and maintain strategic sales accounts

Represent the Company at trade associations, conferences, meetings, and expos to promote products and services

Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and services

Assists customers with product information, selection and purchase

Capable of offering solutions for out of stock items

Coordinates with Warehouse Department’s inventory including cycle counts in an effort to maximize sales
