The IT Operations Supply Chain team is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual to be a part of our team.

In this role, the candidate will work the company’s business units to develop and execute a portfolio of improvement projects across multiple technologies, including SAP ECC Production Planning module and SAP SCM APO module. Additionally the candidate will work with a combination of internal and outsourced resources to support the critical IT systems that are required as part of day to day business operations.

The majority of projects are centered around the SAP system, but the team does support multiple applications including SAP SCM SNC and Servigistics.

Principal Responsibilities:

Key contributor for a small team of IT professionals in the execution of projects and in support of the Production Planning IT suite of tools used in our product manufacturing business (SAP ECC, SAP SCM APO and SNC, Supplier Portal, Servigistics etc.)

Liaison with the Central SI&OP Organization and BU leads on prioritization of Planning & Inventory initiatives.

The responsible person will contribute as a key analyst supporting both production and implementation tasks/activities. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, planning, developing, testing, documenting, and implementing processes within a variety of business units.

•Maintains and or improves planning functionality by analyzing current best business practices; alongside new business design requests for modifications.

•Must have a strong understanding of SAP ECC - PP, MM and SD modules in order to guide business process changes and configuration/development.

•Understanding and configuration knowledge of: Bill of Materials, Routings, MRP, Work Centers, Master Recipe, Batch Management, Production and Process Order Creation, Confirmations, Kanban and MES solutions

•Understanding of inventory & data management processes is desired for end to end business processes.

•Maintains active communication with business users and stakeholders to manage expectations regarding change to the system and the introduction of new and enhanced functionality.

•Manages multiple priorities and successfully completes multiple projects with minimal supervision.

•Understands when to recommend changes to a business process / policy, configuration, or customization.

•Chair meetings with the business and technical teams to translate business requirements into working documents for functional/technical specifications.

Position can be located in Charlotte,NC, Monroe,NC, or Chula Vista,CA.

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP MM-PU, and IT related fields.

Managing and coordinating projects delivery of Planning & Inventory services which include enterprise-level with strong expertise in Planning (SAP PP, MM & SD)

Exceptional communication skills – ability to tailor communication to various audiences throughout the organization

SAP Configuration and associated testing and documentation of procurement related systems.

Troubleshoot common day to day procurement issues in SAP and work with the end users to resolve the situation.

Trouble shoot and perform basic debugging of SAP programs in order to solve application or configuration issues.

Implementing the SAP procurement solution for new facilities and business divisions and end user support after implementation.

Create functional specifications and other documentation to support testing and business acceptance.

Must be a US Person to be considered.

Education: Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Systems or related field.

Preferred:

Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and Application support; Project Management; Working knowledge of networking and systems design.

Passion for being the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.

Experience in integration of SAP MM-PU with other SAP R/3 modules.

Knowledge of SNC or experience with Supplier portals.

Experience with HPQC Testing Tools.
