We have a new employment opportunity for a Registered Nurse Liaison in a busy nursing home in Portland, Oregon. Responsibilities include marketing the facility, enhancing community relations, meeting with discharge planners, and completing admissions paperwork in a skilled nursing environment.

We are searching for a Nurse with prior experience as Admissions Coordinator, Marketing Director, or Nurse Liaison and a working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and managed care admissions processes. Duties include building professional relationships with local hospital discharge planners as and increasing census.
A demonstrated track record for building health care census and developing referral sources within Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facilities, or LTAC is required.
Nurse Liaison requirements:
• 2+ years of health care marketing / census building experience in LTC
• Knowledge of health care regulations, eligibility, and reimbursement required
• Must have a track record of improving Nursing Home market share & profitability
• Registered Nurse required
