Pharmaceutical/Medical Device company located in Neptune, NJ is in need of two (2) Training Specialists to cover both 1st & 2nd shifts.
These are Direct Hire opportunities!
The purpose of the Training Specialist is to enhance the competencies of individual employees by conducting training programs that will boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with company’s core values.
The Training Specialist will be responsible for assessing employee competency and ensuring compliance throughout entire department.
This includes OSHA, US FDA regulations, ISO 13485, Canadian Medical Devices Regulations and European Community Medical Device Directives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Process (cGMP).
•Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
•Facilitates and supports assigned trainings on multiple job functions to both new hires and existing employees
•Provides instruction to trainees in core skills, job skills, and/or daily job tasks
•Monitors and assesses associates' practice of new skills, and provides coaching and feedback
•Ensures a safe working environment throughout the department for all associates, enforces safety guidelines, develops awareness about safety, and maintains the company's standards and those of regulatory agencies
•Familiarity with SOP’s, including writing departmental specific SOP’s
•Submits all activations, deactivations and job/department transfer requests for team
•Maintenance of training matrices to ensure they are current and accurate with any SOP and/or specific job function changes to ensure that employees are trained accordingly prior to performing a task
•Ensure that training records are accurately completed and submitted as required.

•Understand production work flow
•Ability to read and understand technical documents
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
•H.S. Diploma or equivalent
•Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Training is required
•Associates Degree required
•English and Spanish including ability to translate documents from English to Spanish
•Comprehend SOP’s and production process
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
•Word, Excel, and PC skills including MS Office
•Teamwork skills across departments
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Ability to work with a diverse group of people
•Ability in training processes and techniques
•Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible
