Our client is rapidly expanding their eCommerce and OmniChannel capabilities which requires expanding the current technology team. The client's solution foundation is based on Sitecore and Microsoft Dynamics AX.

The IT Applications System Manager is a new role responsible for leading the OmniChannel technology team. This includes partnering with Store Operations, eCommerce, and other team members to manage the life cycle of application solutions focused on retail, point of sale (POS), ecommerce, and OmniChannel.

This Manager will have the ability to build a team to manage eCommerce applications. Strong eCommerce background and ability to collaborate to identify solutions required. Must have retail experience, ideally brick and mortar with buy-online-pick-up-in-store.

Primary Responsibilities:

Own solution strategy, roadmap, and delivery of the below:

Store Point of Sale solution using Microsoft Dynamics AX

eCommerce solution using Sitecore

Buy Online, Pick-up in Store (BOPIS)

Expand the IT team and knowledge base in regards to specific solutions.

Develop the near, mid and long-term roadmap of initiatives aligned to business objectives

Assessment of build vs. partner options with 3rd parties

Execution of the in-house or 3rd party vendor solutions

Focus on product performance, optimization, and continuous innovation

Help define key performance indicators for each product/tool/capability

Review and understand the business case to justify the prioritization and benefits

Drive broad organizational engagement to deliver products on-time and on budget

Energetic, passionate, and inspired leadership

An active networker partnering with cross-functional teams across our lines of business

Manage and understand key online analytics

Measure and report on the efficacy of initiatives and facilitate action plans accordingly

Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve the user experience leveraging all available insights

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Bachelors Degree

2. 5-7 years of experience in a similar role

3. 3 years experience in a management position, running a small team

4. Retail experience (ideally brick and mortar with buy-online-pick-up-in-store.)

5. E-commerce App experience

6. Heavy experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX

7. Experience with Sitecore is a huge plus
