Rural Health / Emergency Medicine / Hospitalist (Critical Access Facility) – Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Loan Repayment Eligibility Convenient to Nacogdoches, TX ($120,000-$130,000 Depending Upon Experience)

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-respected critical access hospital in East, Texas convenient to Nacogdoches, TX. The Provider would work 3-4 days per week in the clinic, and cross cover in the Emergency Department 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month. When the Provider works in the ER, he/she will be off work the following day in the clinic. The volume in the clinic would be 20 patients per day and the ER Admits would be approximately 300 per month (low volume). The provider would have collaborating physician support for any trauma cases (available within 30 minutes) but the Provider would be the first responder. The base salary would be $120,000-$130,000+ depending upon experience. (New Grads with ER RN or EMT Experience Considered) Full benefits package including Medical Dental and 401K, CME, CME Allowance and all dues, fees and licensure paid for as well.

Additionally, the Provider would be able to apply for loan repayment through either the NHSC and Nursing Corp for 2018 funding as this site is a MUSA / HPSA area. The Provider would be eligible to receive up to $25,000 per year directly to the candidates Federally qualified student loans (two year commitment required) or 60% of their loans paid though the Nursing Corp program. This requires a separate application as it is a Federally sponsored program.
