Senior QA Analyst

Our client, headquartered in Columbus, is seeking a remote Senior QA Analyst to join their team. This role will ensure the delivery of high quality software through rigorous testing, automation, and collaboration with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Champion QA best practices and promote quality standards across the development team

Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Product Owners to define requirements and acceptance criteria

Perform hands on testing across platforms, including API testing and backend testing

Develop and execute test plans and test cases, leveraging automation to accelerate test cycles

Utilize SQL for data validation and backend testing

Manage and report defects using JIRA and maintain documentation in Confluence

Contribute to robust, scalable solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing

Qualifications

4+ years of QA experience in software testing and quality assurance

Proficiency in SQL for database validation and query based testing

Experience with API testing and backend validation

Hands on experience with JIRA for defect tracking and workflow management

Knowledge of QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Ruby)

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
