Description The Project Manager will be responsible for: Leading project execution while maintaining a strong focus on safety across all teams and job sites Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements Managing subcontractor procurement, including bid package development and scope evaluation Leading subcontractor meetings to align on schedule, quality, and project milestones Overseeing daily project operations to ensure alignment with schedule, budget, and performance goals Reviewing and approving monthly invoices and supporting documentation Managing project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and budget adjustments Monitoring project performance and identifying risks or cost impacts early Supporting subcontractor negotiations while maintaining strong working relationships Coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication Developing and maintaining project schedules, including sequencing and adjustments as needed Overseeing quality control to ensure work meets project specifications and company standards Managing procurement of materials, equipment, and long-lead items Preparing project updates and reports for internal leadership and stakeholders Supporting project closeout, including punch list completion and final documentation Mentoring and developing assistant project managers, project engineers, and field staff Ensuring compliance with contract requirements and local regulations Profile The Project Manager will have: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5-10+ years of project management experience with a general contractor Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety standards Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts Experience managing project budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with subcontractor procurement and contract negotiations Understanding of scheduling and critical path sequencing Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to proactively identify and mitigate project risks Valid driver's license Job Offer The Project Manager will be offered: $110,000 - $130,000 base salary depending on experience Bonus structure typically ranging from $9,000 - $15,000 in year one Medical, dental, and vision insurance (100% coverage for employee and dependents) 401(k) with strong company contribution Monthly car allowance starting at $600 Company profit sharing Clear career advancement opportunities Structured training and development programs 20 days PTO with flexibility for additional time Company events and team outings Company phone and laptop Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
