Job Description: Hospital employed general surgery practice seeks additional surgeon to join them practicing a mix of “bread and butter” surgery, e.g., hernia repair, cholecystectomy, colon resection, vascular access procedures and some trauma surgery. Exceptional referral base with strong primary care physician referral sources from several counties. Call 1:5. Neurosurgery, vascular, anesthesia and pulm/critical care support available 24/7. 2 private nephrology groups serve as additional referral base. Robust hospitalist service provides medical consultative support for non-surgical issues. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited program. Licensed in state of practice. BC/BE.
