DeGeest is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator/Technician to support and operate robotic welding systems while ensuring high-quality, precise tack welds on metal components. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product strength, accuracy, and consistency in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate robotic tack welding equipment

Load, unload, and align workpieces in robotic welding fixtures

Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and fitting steel components

Inspect and repair welds to ensure quality and consistency

Monitor weld quality and adjust parameters as needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions

Assist with troubleshooting equipment and process improvementsEducation & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

3-5 years of welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing experience

Experience working with robotic or automated welding systems preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications

Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team environmentPhysical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting

Regular handling of materials up to 40+ lbs

Work in environments with loud noise, moving machinery, heat, fumes, and varying temperatures

Ability to safely use hand tools, grinders, and welding equipment

Hiring Salary Range: $28.00-$32.00/hour Depending on Experience

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.
