Senior level epidemiologist with a PhD and pharmaceutical background who has independently led & published retrospective and prospective health related observational studies using various statistical methods.

A portion of the work will support pharmacovigilance efforts. We need someone who will be policy & detail focused across a complex set of studies while remaining oriented to the large picture objective. Database/SAS knowledge and west coast location would be helpful.

Key activities:

Strong scientific contributor designing and conducting sections of high-quality observational research studies to support product strategy and pharmacovigilance activities including safety signal, detection and surveillance.

Developing Research Project, Analysis Plans (APs), Manuals of Operation, & template Tables, Figures & Lists, consultation on scientific methodology and subject content, development of documents for submission to peer-reviewed journals, etc. & systematic review of the scientific and medical literature.

Project management support for analytic projects/work streams, including protocol & policy alignments, decision tracking, compiling result summaries, & attending meetings, contributing to agendas & minutes of scientifically technical discussions, & ushering documents through formal company processes.
