Claims Examiner

High School Diploma or equivalency required. Associate Degree preferred.• One (1) year of prior claims experience preferred.• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.• Knowledge of medical billing/CPT and ICD 9 coding or related experience required.• Healthcare or managed care experience preferred.• Minimum 35 wpm typing preferred.• Working knowledge of PC applications in a windows based environment.• Working knowledge of EXP/Macess and Facets operating systems.• Displays the ability to multi-task, prioritize work and manage time.• Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
