Redstone Commodity Search are working with a physical commodity trading house looking for a senior compliance officer for their London and Singapore offices.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Responsible for developing and implementing the market compliance infrastructure and internal controls

Ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable laws, including EMIR, MiFID II and MAR in Europe, Dodd-Frank in the US, regional anti-bribery laws, risk limits and exchange regulations

Advising trading teams on relevant compliance issues and procedures

Responsible for smooth integration of control systems and compliance procedures

Role reports to Head of Compliance

Key Qualifications / Experience

8-10 years’ experience in a compliance position within a physical commodity trading house

Strong knowledge of financial services, regulated international exchanges and commodity trading businesses

Fundamental understanding of various regulations, including EMIR, Dodd-Frank and relevant EU and/or Asian laws

University degree in Law

Based in London or Singapore (Happy to relocate)
