About the Role
We are looking for detail orientated Aerospace Source Inspector, with a background in a range of mechanical commodities, to support a new as-required project in the Tallin, Estonia area. This role involves conducting on-site in-process and source inspections at a supplier facility between 1 to 2 days a month to ensure that mechanical components and assemblies meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on large, machined parts, with specific focus on welding and thread compliance.
Validate supplier processes and outputs against drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Document inspection findings and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
Raise and assist in resolving quality issues at supplier sites.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer-specific standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Have a minimum of 3 years quality and/or engineering expertise in the aerospace and defence industries.
Proven background in mechanical inspection for aerospace, defence, or similar critical industries.
In-depth knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and aerospace specifications.
Proficiency with measurement tools (CMM, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Experience in welding inspection highly desirable.
Familiarity with NADCAP processes is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
