Redstone Commodity Search are working with a hedge fund looking for talented long/short equity Portfolio Managers in London. Candidates should be sector specific experts.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Responsible for generating and implementing long/short investment strategies, focusing exclusively on sector specific markets. Sectors of interest are TMT, industrials, utilities and healthcare

Responsible for tactical portfolio management. Focus on fundamental, qualitative and technical analysis

Perform consistently in generating risk-adjusted absolute return; high emphasis on low volatility and low drawdowns

Develop trade ideas and liaise with research analysts; incorporate analysis of macroeconomic trends to support investment ideas

Role reports into the Head of Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

7-10 years’ experience in a leading hedge fund.

Previous experience managing a book of $150-200MM+ on a specific equity sector (TMT, healthcare, utilities, industrials, etc)

Strong, verifiable PnL track record. Ideally $10MM+

Strategy must be equity market neutral

Located in London, Hong Kong or New York (happy to relocate)
