Job Description:

This position is a management position that has a responsibility to follow the directions of the General Service Manager and Parts Manager

This person is responsible for:

• Managing the day to day operations of the Canton Service department employees

• Managing the Parts inventory and sales for Canton

• Build and maintain relations with current and new customers

• Manage the local Safety program

• Other responsibilities as assigned by management

Abilities and Skills:

• Must be highly creative, imaginative, positive, motivated and have the highest level of ethical standards

• Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution

• Exercise exceptional judgment

• Superior verbal and written communication skills and inter-personal skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to read and write the English language

• Excellent computer and mathematical skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows Explorer and contact management software)

• Recognize and follow company procedures and policies

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; though alternative education with relevant work experience may be considered

• Minimum of two (2) years of Service Management experience

• Must have a background that is directly or indirectly involved in Heavy Equipment / Construction Equipment and Service Management
