Job Description
Responsibilities
Administer and support Unix and Linux systems across production and DR environments.
Perform system upgrades, patching, hardening, and performance tuning.
Monitor system health, capacity, backups, and security compliance.
Execute disaster recovery planning, testing, and failover activities.
Provide L2/L3 incident support and manage problem resolution.
Support projects, changes, and maintain system documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, with 8+ years of Unix/Linux administration experience.
Strong experience with Solaris and Linux production systems.
Hands-on experience in OS hardening, patching, and enterprise backups.
Proficient in Unix/Linux scripting for automation.
Familiarity with SAN, data centre, or cloud environments is an advantage.
Able to support 24/7 rostered operations and after-hours changes.
