Redstone Commodity Search are working with a diversified agricultural trading house looking for a fertilizer trader for their Dubai office.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

•Responsible for trading a cross product portfolio (NPKs, ammonium sulphate, phosphates, specialties) into target markets, such as West Africa, SE Asia and India

•Responsible for aggressively driving new business growth by establishing new relationships with fertilizer primaries/producers and customers

•The main focus of the role will initially be on growing the container business

•Responsible for current Supply & Demand research analysis

•Role reports to the Managing Director

Key Qualifications / Experience

•3-5 years’ experience trading fertilizers with a focus in West Africa and/or India and/or South East Asia

•Candidates should have experience with both sourcing and sales and established relationships with main producers in China and/or Russia

•Previous track record with consistent volumes and PnL in fertilizer container trade

•Fluency in French or Mandarin would be an advantage

•Based in Dubai (or Home Office depending on market focus) (Happy to relocate)
