Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide high-quality care in a Correctional Facility setting across California.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 24 months of LVN experience within the last 3 years in a public or private institution providing direct patient care.

Current and valid California LVN License issued by the California State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities:

Provide basic nursing care and hygiene services under the direction of RN or Physician.

Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic effects.

Assist with routine procedures, minor surgeries, and diagnostic testing.

Monitor, record, and report patient/youth conditions to RNs and Physicians.

Obtain and document specimens for diagnostic tests.

Support mental health staff in patient treatment planning and evaluation.

Educate patients on health practices and ensure continuity of care.

Document all care provided using approved methods and formats.

Clean and maintain medical equipment as required.
