Senior Auditor (294345)

Oversee the analysis of financial information and performance of risk assessment for US subsidiaries and affiliates of Italian corporations. Oversee the preparation of audits and financial statements to determine and maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities for corporate clients. Liaise with auditors of clients’ Italian headquarters to collect and provide financial information for inclusion in Italian annual reports, audit reports, tax reports, and compliance documentation. Prepare and coordinate the preparation of backup materials and documentation for year-end audits, and maintain financial records, including records of assets, liabilities and profit and loss for each organization. Perform budgeting, financial controlling, performance evaluation, cost management, and asset management. Develop and maintain appropriate internal controls and financial procedures in order to check for mismanagement, waste, or fraud. Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and relevancy of financial and management reporting and coordinate audits and financial reports. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions and inspect accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness and use of appropriate and accepted accounting procedures.

3 years of experience in the job offered or as an accountant or related. Related experience must include the following: Preparation of financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); Italian corporate tax reporting and compliance; and, Italian GAAP principles.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related
