Redstone Commodity Search are working with a soft commodity trading house looking for a specialty coffee trader in respective countries of origin.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

•Responsible for procurement and trading of specialty Arabica coffee (SCAA 80+) in Central/Latin America or East Africa

•Responsible for targeted business development. Establishing new relationships with local growers, farms and co-operatives

•Coordinating with other trading offices for distribution and sales

•Travelling to visit suppliers/growers

•Role reports to Head of Trading

Key Qualifications / Experience

•At least 3-5 years’ experience in procurement and/or trading of specialty coffee

•Must have established relationships with local farms and co-operatives

•Fluent in local languages: Swahili, Spanish, Portuguese

•Strong knowledge of specialty Arabica/Robusta bean quality and grading

•Based in Country of Origin
