POSITION Long-Term Substitute Teacher

LOCATION Uniontown, OH 44865

PAY RATE $125.00 Per Day

Dedicated School Staffing is proud to support Green Local Schools for the recruitment of substitute teaching opportunities. Substitute teachers play an important role in our schools by stepping in to make sure that quality education, effective classroom management, and school poicy and procedures continue in the absence of the assigned classroom teacher.

Responsibilities

Presents subject matter to students.

Ensures that students are never left unattended in the classroom.

Keeps students safe and engaged.

Exhibits proper classroom management techniques.

Understands building and classroom policy and procedures.

Documents lesson plans.

Maintains student records/performance.

Follows the Individualized Education Program (IEP) of the student.

Lifts, diapers and/or feeds students

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree - any field (Non-Bachelor's Degree opportunities available, rules may apply - must be a student teacher)

Clean criminal background.

Three (3) positive professional references.

Experience working with school aged children.

After Hire (Contingent)

Ohio Department of Education Substitute Teacher License, or higher license.

FBI & BCI Background checks dated within 12 months (Cost varies per agency).

Details

Part-time; Monday - Friday.

Enrollment in State Teachers Retirement System (STRS)
