Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer

The ideal candidate is someone looking for excellent growth potential and is willing to work to

develop and grow our mechanical engineering services.

Mechanical Engineer with 4-8 years of experience, preferably with at least some experience in the consulting engineering field

Degree in mechanical engineering

Very familiar with HVAC system design and load calculations

Experience with piping design systems and pipe routing

Experience and proficiency with Carrier HAP, Trace 3D, or similar program

Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD 2D

Experience and proficiency in Revit are a plus

Experience and proficiency with Autodesk Inventor would also be a plus

Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

This position will require preparing calculations, designs, reports, and drawings for both industrial and commercial project

This position will require providing technical advice on designs and construction

Ideally, this candidate would operate out of the Mobile Office

We will consider applicants for this position out of the Sylacauga office, as well

Must be physically capable of performing field duties

The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is not required, but it will be expected within the first year of employment

Professional Engineering License Required

The applicant will have the opportunity to work directly with a licensed engineer if they are looking to further their career and obtain a PE license

Must be a self-starter

Must be capable of working independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills

Experience in project management would be a plus
