Professional Qualifications and Experience

Education : A Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is essential. Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), too can be considered along with any other relevant PG Degree in the relevant field.

Experience : The Marketing / Branding Manager shall be responsible for promoting the hospital's services & enhancing its brand reputation to increase patient volume & engagement. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a marketing role, with a strong preference for experience within a hospital, healthcare system or related healthcare industry setting & a strong understanding of digital marketing and industry regulations. A Proven track record of developing and executing successful, multi-channel marketing and branding campaigns shall be needed. Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, social media management, content creation, and data analytics is crucial. Exposure to project management, budget administration & managing external vendors / agencies, too would be needed. Further exposure to the following is also strongly preferred.

Strategic thinking and planning to align marketing goals with the hospital's mission.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to collaborate with medical staff, leadership, and diverse teams.

Strong analytical skills to interpret market research data, measure campaign performance (KPIs), and make data-driven decisions.

Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance is vital to ensure all communications meet legal and ethical standards.

Creativity to develop innovative marketing and branding strategies.

Leadership and project management abilities to oversee a team and multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and branding strategies that align with the hospital’s overall business objectives.

Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and patient needs.

Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, TV, radio, events) to promote various medical services and specialties.

Manage the hospital's digital presence, including the website, SEO/SEM efforts, email marketing, and social media platforms.

Collaborate with medical staff and internal departments to create informative and compelling content (brochures, press releases, blog posts, videos, ads).

Manage public relations and media communications, ensuring a consistent and positive brand message across all channels.

Plan and coordinate community outreach programs, health fairs, and events to enhance the hospital's local presence and build relationships.

Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, local businesses, and community leaders.

Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.

Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively to optimize return on investment (ROI).
