Currently we have multiple openings in manufacturing maintenance supervisors / managers

We are working with a client that has been in operations over 100 years. The positions are of unique nature. Needed are candidates that are technical minded, production oriented, supervisory skilled, forward thinking and a "Change Agent"

Will be overseeing multiple union technician crafts encompassing basically electrical techs and mechanical techs.

You will be responsible for leadership of the groups and all maintenance areas assigned. Will work with maintenance groups, planning, production and operations.

Will ensure all training is performed

Will ensure allocation of manpower to meet needs

Will ensure schedules & safety requirements are met

Will monitor work & direction

Will conduct inspections of equipment and facilities within power plants areas.

Will oversee managerial supervision and hourly technical.

Technical and analytical understanding of the maintenance of power and recovery boilers


Some highlights of requirements:

Ideally have a bachelors degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering

Will consider Associates, Trade School, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent if candidate has significant manufacturing maintenance supervisory experience and technically oriented.

Have strong leadership skills, team oriented, and effectively engages others in dealing with problems and solutions

Have at least 3 years industrial maintenance managerial experience with Power Plant focus.

Ability to teach, mentor, coach, develop, delegate, and follow-up

Enjoys fast pace and multiple competing priorities
