Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house seeking a Business Development manager to be based in their China office.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Responsible for procurement and purchasing of fertilizer products, (including but not necessarily limited to, DAP, MAP Urea, NPK, Phosphates)

Responsible for business growth and development; expanding client base and volumes accordingly

Responsible for tactical market evaluations, detailed and current research analysis and risk management

Liaise closely with supply chain and logistics teams

Role reports into the Managing Director

Key Qualifications / Experience

6+ years’ experience in a leading trade house in a similar Business Development role.

Strong experience in budgeting, cost reduction and risk management

Strong skills in business strategy and purchasing

Fluent in Mandarin (other additional dialects would be an advantage)

Located in China (happy to relocate)
