Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Columbus, OH 43213 (Ohio nursing jobs)

Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Unit: Labor & Delivery (3Purple-LD)

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week

Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/7/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1890-$1940

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio RN license preferred)

Minimum of 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications

Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment

Compliance with all onboarding requirements, including health screenings, drug screening, background check, competency testing, and required immunizations

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, promptly recognizing and responding to complications

Administer medications and support pain management for laboring patients

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate and support patients and their families during the childbirth process

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
