The IT Onsite Support Internship is responsible for supporting the IT team in day-to-day technical assistance to users, ensuring that computers, networks, and IT equipment operate smoothly. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and maintaining devices, and coordinating with central IT teams for system updates or escalated support. The position requires hands-on work at the site, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication to support employees effectively.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Provide onsite support for computer, printer, and network issues.
+ Install, set up, and maintain hardware and software.
+ Troubleshoot technical problems and help users solve IT issues quickly.
+ Work with central IT teams when issues need escalation.
+ Keep records of support activities and equipment.
+ Support meeting room equipment and video conferencing tools.
+ Ensure IT equipment and systems run smoothly and securely.
+ Give basic IT guidance or training to users when needed.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s or Diploma degree (or currently studying) in IT, or related field.
+ No more than 1 year since graduation.
+ Good understanding of computers, operating systems, and basic networking.
+ Familiar with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
+ Able to diagnose and fix hardware or software issues.
+ Good communication and teamwork skills.
+ Organized, responsible, and service oriented.
+ Basic IT certifications (like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft) are a plus.
+ Local candidates from Duri or Riau area will be prioritized.
