Growth opportunity! Insurance Firm/Brokerage designed for independent agents wanting to create residual income is currently recruiting licensed P&C Insurance agents in your State no matter the city. Selected agents will write business through Firm/Brokerage list of carries so no carrier appointment is necessary for you the agent. This is an ideal positon for practicing agents to write business outside of their current 9-5 positions or for the strong minded, self-employed, motivated go-getter! There is no monthly policy count required, agents get paid 50% of agencies contracted carrier commission starting with their first issued policy and again on renewals. As an agent you can write a larger percentage of your prospects with one of our many carriers, increasing your retention and close ratio. (Agents currently signed to a non-compete need not apply)

Working Conditions

• Must have reliable internet connection.

• Working PC or Laptop computer.

• Will need cell phone. (Agent sets own schedule and work location)

• Bank account for direct deposit.

• This is a 1099 position and pays commission next 30 days.

• (Optional) Docusign or Authentsign accounts for esignatures.

• Company gmail and Fax number provided.

Firm/Brokerage pays agent 50% of contracted carrier commissions on new business and renewals. Commission chart will accompany contract for selected agents.

Experience an Education

• (Preferred) 1 or more years’ experience with industry rater (EZlynx) or like system.

• (Preferred) 1 or more years’ experience quoting business with carrier software.

• Newly licensed agents encouraged to apply. (Great place to start your experience)

• Ability to use email applications and navigate MSword, Excel and office applications.

• At least 1 year of sales and or marketing experience with stable success in the insurance industry.

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.

License and Certifications

• Active Property and Casualty insurance license.

• Must meet Continuing Education requirements.

• NFIP Flood certification is required if writing flood policies.

Ideal candidate

• Must be self-motivated and goal oriented.

• Have a solid selling and sales process.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be very Knowledgeable about insurance profession with strong ability to build a great customer base.

• Must be able to handle their customer’s insurance needs as a professional.
