Rate: $80.00 to $100.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of a CRM-sourced data mart to optimize Power BI usage.
Define and create star schemas and relational database structures.
Design and establish ETL processes and data pipelines utilizing Microsoft Fabric and associated services.
Set and uphold data architecture and engineering best practices.
Work closely with business stakeholders to transform requirements into effective technical solutions.
Deliver hands-on coding while mentoring team members on modern data practices.
Establish foundational elements for an enterprise data warehouse and outline a roadmap for future projects.
Experience Requirements:
Extensive experience with Microsoft data technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse.
10+ years of expertise in star schema design and relational modeling.
8 years of experience in designing and managing ETL processes and production data pipelines.
Experience integrating datasets for Power BI and employing visualization-aligned data modeling methods.
Proven ability to lead projects from inception to completion independently.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration between business and technical teams.
Familiarity with data lake and warehouse concepts including SQL, Delta, and Parquet.
Experience with Databricks is preferred.
Understanding of CRM systems and sales data structures is a plus.
Knowledge of financial data modeling and understanding of securities, instruments, and portfolios is preferred.
Ability to work remotely in alignment with East Coast business hours.
