OBJECTIVE: A position as a registered nurse in a unique clinical or

hospital setting that requires a qualified professional with the enthusiasm

to increase utilization and further sharpen my nursing skills. I seek to

QUALIFICATIONS

Provide a comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients having

numerous complicating conditions. Perform a vast array of direct patient

care procedures and ability to multi-task. Observes the patient's changing

condition and participates in the development and update of the nursing

plan of care. Assists the physician with complex and potentially life-

threatening procedures. Continually assesses patient vital signs, level of

consciousness, circulatory and neuro-motor function; reports abnormalities

to charge nurse and physician. Administers medications via intramuscular,

subcutaneous, oral, rectal and respiratory route. Observes, interprets and

reports cardiac rhythms, differentiates normal and abnormal tracings and

notifies registered nurse. Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the

ability to tactfully and effectively communicate with staff, community-

based organizational groups, and government agencies. Demonstrate

proficiency with technology related to electronic medical records and

standard computer software including Microsoft 2007 Office, multiple

operating systems including but not limited to Mac and PC.
