1/2011-10/2011, MahindraSatyam/Alfred Kärcher: Winnenden, Baden Württemburg, Germany. Technical Project Lead.

On-site technical and project lead for an off-shoring and remote IT support project between the IT department of a mid-sized German tool and product manufacturing group and an Indian IT support company. Lead the project, defined the tasks, produced a documentation package, and English-German translator. Controlled a data-center consisting of +180 actual HP servers, plus +180 Vmware virtual Win2003/2008/Linux servers to support approximately +150 different applications. Provided Level 2 support for +6000 worldwide users, multiple sites, in one large AD root-domain with several sub-domains, and a few separate AD domains. Managed the backup/storage and folders/files/rights tasks. Managed the Citrix remote access solution. Provided 24x7 monitoring of the servers and networks, help-desk, and troubleshooting. Provided technical, IT, and administrative support to a military logistics warehouse and distribution facility in Sicily, Italy. Reworked and improved the IT support and help-desk functions. 3/2010, Ronco Consulting/NATO: Kandahar AFB, Afghanistan; IT Technician.

A short trip to Kandahar AFB. Project was canceled due to construction delays.

Objectives were to rebuild a local area network, support an unclassified version of the Biometrics Automated Toolkit for security screening of the local workforce, and find a new VSAT supplier. Deployment physical, drug-test, and NATO security clearance required.

Provided quick and effective technical support to the world’s largest search engine company. Setup, installed, and configured new offices, racks, workstations, laptops, VoIP phones, printers, and special systems.
