Responsible for providing direction and leadership of four engineers and two contract employees. Developed and provided automatic test system solutions and service tools.

• Reached maximum market share of cellular phones in the Asia market by providing improved repair capabilities in each country to all authorized Motorola service providers. This program included the buy-in and development of generic automated test equipment utilizing Windows Graphic User Interfaces GUI’s.

• Improved customer response to the offshore service repair community by managing subcontractor development of sub system hardware, as they provided components in the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) systems.

• Enabled the Asian market to double its growth every 6 months by implementing system product development and training worldwide for ATE systems.

Manufacturing Lead Engineer, Libertyville, IL (1988 – 1995)

Led the development and implementation of the test equipment for the Hangzhou Communication Equipment Factory.

• Successfully completed the setup of the Hangzhou Communication Equipment Factory (HCEF), allowing greater penetration of market share and met government regulated requirements for in country manufacturing of cellular products in China. HCEF still remains as a joint business venture and continues to compete competitively in the production of cellular phones.
