• Attending Site Visit

- Studying carefully the present site condition that need to be considered during estimation and pay attention to the owner representative who conducted site visit because they will explain the areas and scope involve and other activities mentioned on the written scope of works.

- Preparing all clarifications that need to be raised after the site visit.

- Listing down all present bidders, and those failed to attend the site visit.

• Preparation for Materials Take-off and Request for Quotations.

- Read, familiarize and analyze the project requirements based on the scope of works and all provide documents including pro-forma contract, drawings, specification and data sheets.

- Prepare Request for Quotation for each item and provide all necessary information to all the vendors including but not limited to drawings, specifications, data sheets and the material take-off.

• Preparation of BOQ (Including Man-hours, Materials, Equipment, & Subcontractor).

- Provide bill of quantities based on the requirement on the detailed scope of work. This BOQ includes required man-hours, equipment hours for each materials which requires equipment, sub contractor for each items which requires specialization and all the items which requires vendors assistance on testing, pre-commissioning, start up and commissioning.

• Implementation of quality plan for this project, which include inspection, testing and proper documentation and ensure that all works complied with client issued (IFC) drawing, applicable standards and specification.

• Implementing coverage of proper installation, wiring and cable laying, cladding, termination, witnessing of insulation resistance test.

• Witnessing calibration of instrument popping test and bubble test of safety valves.

• Continuity testing, hydro-testing, loop checking and pre-commissioning of all the field instruments i.e. level flow, temperature pressure and control valves.

• Ensuring the test and calibration equipments were calibrated according to industry standards and check also the validity of calibration certificate.

• Responsible in inspection of instrument to its conformity with the specification on the data sheets with the actual commodity.

• Check physical, material size, tag number, color code, model, process connection, reference drawing etc.

• Signs specification data sheets calibration sheet after thorough checking of instruments involved prior to actual installation.

• Specification check on instruments i.e. temperature gauges, Thermocouples pressure gauges, control valves, transmitters, manifolds etc. Writes request for inspection (RFIs).

• Issue NCR on instruments installed that does not conform to the standards specified by the client.

• Inspect and witness impulse lines, manifold, airlines installed, checking its height, slope, services, etc. in line with the specification.
