Achieved the following KPI successes after re-engineering the EHS and training functions within 3 years:

Ø Reduced DART (Days Away and Restricted Time) rate from 3.80 to .51;

Ø Reduced WC from $600k to $260k; and

Built knowledge of the elevator and escalator industry, and developed detailed business plans to achieve mandated goals. Functional areas of responsibility encompassed EPA, OSHA and DOT regulatory compliance at 68 locations for 4,500 union and non-union employees throughout the US. Reported to the SVP of HR.

Achieved the following KPI successes after re-engineering the EHS department within 2-1/2 years:

Ø Reduced TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate) rate from 10.14 to 4.42;

Ø Reduced LDIR (Lost Day Incident Rate) rate from 1.8 to 1.14; and

Ø Reduced workers’ compensation losses $4.8 to $2.8 million;
