Brief Description of the project:

Wells Fargo Wholesale division needs to build a centralized data mart/warehouse to capture, analyze and report for Risk management data for wholesale loans. The required data will be extracted from various source systems; all required transformations will be applied and stored in the final Core newly designed database model. As part of the initial phase, loan systems are in scope of this project. The data will be extracted from source system into staging area/tables in the staging work-stream. In the Core model work stream, transformations are applied to staging data and stored in core model tables. SQL Server 2005, SSIS and SSRS tools are used to develop & implement the solution in Windows environment.

Brief Description of the project:

The Entire Project is used by the people of Melbourne. It helps in eliminating paper ticketing system by the smart card which allows a patron to buy tickets, or do shopping by the amount on the card available. A simple smart card will be issued to each and every patron, who ever use this service. When a Patron enters into the bus, and when he scans the card against the device, the amount on the card will be automatically deducted from the card based on the destination. Implementing Data warehouse will help the government in viewing various types of reports like, what is the usage of the cards by various patrons, how many cards have been sold out given on a particular date, etc This will in turn help in knowing the current situation and take decisions based on the reports.
