Construction of 47,406 square feet of space containing medical classrooms, training laboratories, and associated faculty.

Design and Construction of the fifth and final Medical Instructional Facility. MIF 5 is a 47,400 SF multi-story facility that provides general and applied instructional and administrative spaces for Anatomy/Physiology (to include cadaver presentation and storage spaces) , Joint Eye/Ophthalmic, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiopulmonary, Joint Cardiovascular and ITRO Orthopedic Courses. The building will be of structural steel construction with a stucco / brick exterior. Oversaw 2 specialized CQC personal,

Electrical, and Mechanical. Also oversaw the Site Health and Safety Officer. The Project value is $18 million, plus (2 RFP’s).

September 2008 – March 2009

Contractor Quality Control Manager (USACE) Blueridge General Inc.

New Visitors Quarters Langley Air Force Base Hampton VA

The project includes construction of a 4-story structure totaling 115,363 NSF containing 203 non-handicap units and 7 handicap units for a total of 210 units. Each unit will have a separate bathroom. The project also includes site work, installation of various utilities and demolition of existing asphalt parking surfaces. Supervised 3 specialty CQC’s ( mechanical, electrical, and architectural ) and a Site Safety Officer. The project value was $26 million, plus (3 RFP’s).

October 2007- April 2008

Superintendent/Contractor Quality Control (NAVFAC) Bay Electric

26 pair fiber optic install and circuit’s 4&5 replacement NAS Jacksonville FL.

Oversaw the installation of 26 pair fiber optic cables and the replacement of 19,000 lin. feet of primary

underground cable and subsequent termination. Installation was by the means of underground directional boring.

May 2005-September 2007

Superintendent/Contractor Quality Control (NAVFAC) BKM Design Build

Bldg. 135 Restoration, NAS Jacksonville, FL.

Oversaw the Demolition and Restoration of an existing 176,000 sqft. Cold storage facility, too general

Office space. Which included a large array of hazardous materials abatements.

Project Engineer/Quality Control HBE Corporation

Adams Mark Hotel, Jacksonville, FL. also Daytona Beach, FL.

Assisted Project Manager with the construction of a 20 floor, 980 room hotel and existing a 6-floor office building/parking garage renovation, to accommodate hotel, conference, ballrooms, and 2 full service kitchens and 2 independent restaurants. Negotiate change orders that range from $0 - $200,000.

Create and revise contract schedules.

Oversaw all on and off site testing and Quality Control of materials and installation procedures.

Resolve problems that surface during the construction process dealing with designs and specifications.

Assisted Project Manager with the construction of the Bulk Mail Facility addition. Job cost 28.5 million dollars. Project was of masonry and steel construction, 68 docks and levelers, and a cast in place towveyer line.

Duties included but not limited to:

Change order review and acceptance, shop drawing review, additive and deductive change orders sub-contractors contracts and contractor quality control.

Oversaw construction/installation of volatile organic compound systems in the industrial/manufacturing environment.
